Having booked to stay in apartments in Gumbet we were met at Bodrum/Milas Airport by our Turkish Friend, Mahmut Gunes.He took us to his home in Konacik, where we spent the week with his wife,Huyla, and daughters Melek and Tugce. We experienced the real Turkiye and we will never forget the genuine kindness which was shown to us by everyone we met.Language may have been a problem but it was over come and we all gained a great deal from the experience.
