My Anataly Experience was great! I stayed in Side, the place carol taylor talked about to. I didn't see any dogshit, which she talked about, and when I was at Side, the Turkish people where renovating the beautiful roman theater. Buying stuff in Turkey is a game for me. What I like most is the "walking-away" tactic. When you can't agree with on a price with the Truksih salesman, you pretent to walk away. Then he comes running after you saying "okey okey, I'll take 20% off!" I've also been to Manavgat. I actaully rented a boat with a group of my friends. That's a big tip for everybody, rent one of the many boats for a whole day, don't just make a one hour trip. Th eprivate boattour brought us to the waterfalls, and from there to the big sea, where I did a little jetskiing! After that, we ate fresh fish... and all this was included in the renting price of the boat! I also went rafting near Manavgat. What a blast. Even my 51 year old mother went along, and had the time of her life. It my look scary, all that white water, but it is so much FUN!!! Above all, I fell in love with the Turkish people. They are very warm and friendly. I got sick on my holiday, because I couldn't eat because of a throut-ace. A Turkish boy of a restaurant I visited a few times went to the pharmacy for me, and refused to take money from me for the medicine he bought. Sure, the salesman ask you to come in there shops, but that's a part of Turkish culture. You've got to see that as a game, and believe me, youcan have a lot of fun buying things. A tip for everybody who's going to Turkey, when the sun is standing high at the sky, don't be a typical tourist, and just walk at the shadow site of the streets. Only tourist walk in the full sun, and get sick because of the warmth.
